Seleni Institute is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 2011 to destigmatize and transform mental health and wellness by addressing real-life issues that challenge the emotional health of women, men, and their families. We treat, train, support, and advocate to improve the emotional health of individuals and their families during the family-building years.
The Seleni Institute is increasing: the availability and accessibility of mental health and wellness support for women and their families; the availability of professional training opportunities for mental health and health care providers to screen, treat, and/or refer women in distress; emotional support for women worldwide, through reasoned and practical online information; knowledge and understanding of reproductive and maternal mental health through research funding; and the likelihood of success in adulthood for young mothers by providing critical and evidence-based reproductive and maternal mental health services to pregnant and postpartum teenage girls.
1:00 pm-4:00 pm
Seleni will be participating Day 2 of the United State of Women 2018 Summit! If you’re in the LA area, please join us for a session on how to build resilience while preserving your emotional health in today’s world.
