President Obama’s Message for MBK Alliance’s 5th Anniversary
Chicago, February 27, 2019 – We are proud to have been one of the founding sponsors of MBK Alliance (MBKA) and for our Chairman and CEO, Mr. George M. Logothetis, to be a member of the MBKA Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
Within five years from its inception, MBKA has been a catalyst in breaking barriers for young boys and men of color. MBKA currently represents close to 250 communities across the US and strives towards creating more partnerships, tackles systemic challenges faced by young men of color, and supports them in reaching their full potential.
Honoring the first five years of MBKA’s activity, President Obama noted:
“Our country can reach its potential only if these young men can reach theirs. That’s why Michelle, I, and the rest of the My Brother’s Keeper Alliance will never stop fighting for them. I hope you’ll join us in the fight, too.”

MBKA is an independent non-profit organization aimed at eliminating opportunity and achievement gaps for boys and young men of color. The alliance unites leaders across the philanthropic, non-profit and private sectors to improve life outcomes for this socioeconomically challenged group.
