Envolve Launches New Veterans Cohort
Feb. 17, 2023 – Envolve USA has launched its newest Founder Forward cohort. Powered by Prudential Cares, the Veteran Voices cohort launches during Black History Month and recognizes four Black veteran founders who are redefining what it means to be Black veteran business owners.
During the six-week program, the founders will receive free professional advising services from employees of Prudential. With an unrestricted grant of $5,000 each, the founders will identify potential growth areas and utilize funds to help solve business challenges.
Our latest cohort comprises groundbreaking Black veteran entrepreneurs who are bringing positive change to their communities. The four founders and their industries are:
- Finance – Dana Fry & Robert Williams of Ujamaa Incorporated
- Recruiting – Christopher Thomas of Elite 9 Veteran Talent Acquisition Services, LLC
- Construction – Alisia Richardson of ARGC Construction Group
- Commercial Painting – Alton Reed of KREED Painting
