Concordia Americas Summit Returns to Miami

December 15, 2022 – Concordia Americas Summit is back in Miami, March 9-10, 2023. As Concordia’s longest-standing regional initiative, the summit will build on last year’s momentum, gathering leaders from public, nonprofit, and private sectors to confront the challenges and opportunities facing the Western Hemisphere, with a particular focus on Latin America.

Topics at the summit last July ranged from the ongoing impact of the pandemic and the mental health crisis to the emerging threats to democracy in the region and the critical need to transition to Net Zero. Speakers – including H.E. Ivan Duque Márquez (now former President of Colombia who spoke on the heels of a historic election there), Dr. Vivek Murthy (Surgeon General of the U.S.), H.E. Luis Amagro (Secretary General, Organization of American States), and the Honorable Diputada Ana Irene Delgado (Asamblea Nacional de Panamá) – all stressed the importance of engaging with Latin America and the need for enhanced public-private partnerships to not only tackle some of the intractable issues facing the Western Hemisphere but also to unlock the potential of the region.

The event will be held again at University of Miami, which was announced last year as Concordia’s Principal PRogramming Partner and official host of Concordia Americas Summits through 2025. Learn more and register today at Concordia.net.
