The 2021 P3 Impact Award
The P3 Impact Award was created by Concordia, the University of Virginia Darden School Institute for Business in Society, and the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Global Partnerships to recognize and honor leading public-private partnerships (P3s) that improve communities and the world. Inaugurated in 2014, the P3 Impact Award is presented each fall at the Concordia Annual Summit in New York, New York*. The award seeks to highlight leading practices and actionable insights in the P3 arena. For this award, a P3 refers to any cross-sector collaboration that features public, private, nonprofit, or non-governmental organizations and addresses societal problems.

- Applications will be reviewed based on the partnership’s measurable impact, economic and social benefits, innovation, financial effectiveness, and scalability.

Independent judges hail from the public, private, civil society, and academic spaces and have demonstrated partnering leadership in their field.

5 finalist partnerships will be selected and notified in July, and extended the opportunity to present at the 2021 Concordia Annual Summit. The winner will be announced at the Concordia Annual Summit in New York City / digital this September.
Promising partnerships not selected as Finalists have the opportunity to be selected for the 2021 P3 Impact Accelerator, a 5-week digital program that provides partnering expertise alongside mentorship, networking, and visibility.
*In 2020, for the 10th Annual Summit, Concordia launched a five-day, fully digital summit, where the 7th annual P3 Impact Award was presented.
