The Libra Group

The Libra Group is a privately-owned international business group that controls 30 subsidiaries active in 35 countries across six continents. Part of our responsibility in running an international business is to maximize our contribution to communities among whom we work while minimizing environmental impact. Another part of that responsibility is to actively give something back.

Libra Social Responsibility

At Libra, we seek to turn family values into guiding business principles. One core value is a strong sense of respect and trust in the individual. Another is a sense of community – recognizing that together we can be more. While a business is a community it must also acknowledge its responsibilities to the wider world, the global community.

Investing in the community

The Libra Group was founded on the core values of integrity, respect and trust. These principles continue to drive the organization today, in business and beyond.

For us, that means translating intent into action wherever we operate – but always with sensitivity to the impact that we have among local communities. We believe strongly in the twin values of hope and opportunity and seek to make a difference while also preserving what is good.

Our wide range of community engagement activities comprise ten initiatives broadly linked to the themes of supporting tomorrow’s leaders and assisting people who have been denied or have limited opportunity.
